The Daily Bellringer on YouTube
The Daily Bellringer is a history channel designed primarily to be used by teachers in the classroom or homeschool educators. Jared Bruening, the host and creator of The Daily Bellringer, is a Junior High History teacher in central Illinois with over fifteen years of classroom experience.
Jared originally created the channel as a way to help one fellow teacher in his school district that was struggling with teaching history. After creating a few videos for this teacher, Jared’s wife recommended posting the videos on YouTube to see if other teachers might use them. Now thousands of students each day from all over the country are viewing the videos as a way to review or introduce content.
The videos are very school appropriate with no bad language, inappropriate jokes, and as little bias as possible.
In addition there are worksheets availalbe on THE DAILY BELLRINGER website that go directly with many of the videos and can further the history lesson.
