It’s been a busy year…

On January 2nd, I purchased the URL https://historyordie.org and started reaching out to our current History or Die creators.

The first group graciously accepted and connected me with other creators and so forth. I hope to start the next round of reaching out soon to cotinue to create a spot where people can find the Internet’s Best History Creators.

Playing the long game, loving the brand, and believing in the mission, that initial investment was a 10 year URL purchase costing $318.60.

In 2024 our History or Die merchandise was our most popular over at the Walk with History Gift Shop and HOD merch sales resulted in profits of $36.71. I did my best to keep the prices as low as possible so profit margins are pretty slim…but this is still a good start!

If we spread the $318 cost over 10 years that’s about $32/year…so we made just over that in profits of merchandise sales for 2024.

Not bad in my book.

What is ahead in 2025?

Interviews.

Jenn and I have finally moved (back in May/June) and are setting in to our Memphis neighborhood. Our new podcast studio is set up and we are ready to start learning more about our HOD creators and getting their names out there!

When will we see the interviews!

I will be sending out emails to our current HOD creators to start working on scheduling podcast/video interviews for those who expressed an initial interest.

I have been excited to see what our fellow history creators have been doing this past year and can’t wait to start highlighting it for the world to discover!
